This design is a representation of transgender bodies, and representing them as an “ideal”

form. I emulated the famous David sculpture by Michelangelo, since this sculpture is

considered “perfect” by many. In this way, I am taking a well known cis-body from the

Renaissance, and subverting it to represent an under-represented group of people –

showing that they too, despite having a different form than many, can still be just as

“perfect.”
